Our Special educator and rehabilitator has a long-year and specific experience in working with children with atypical development and children with special needs.

At the NEOCORTEX Center she offers individual and family treatments for children and adolescents, including practical application of the principle of learning and play therapy, while stimulating all features of early child development.

Furthermore, during her everyday work she also performs developmental assessments of the psycho-motoric development, early interventions, stimulations and re-education of the psycho-motoric development, which represents firm basis for development of other skills, along with cognitive  capabilities, speech and children’s socio-emotional development. She manages to meet parents’ educational goals and improves the entire behavior and conduct of the child with great success. The former is being accomplished by implementing various techniques aimed at improving the attention and the concentration, exercises for better thinking and memorizing, fine and gross motor skills exercises, speech, communication and interpersonal skills exercises. She has also great success regarding the achievement of parents’ goals, as well as improvement of children’s self-confidence and independence in their everyday life.

Mrs. Dimova has been actively taking part in projects regarding children’s healthy growth and development, parents’ mental health care, as well as group activities for children with atypical development, combined with researches for families and people with atypical development. Moreover, she enriches her experience when participating in various projects and associations for people with special needs.

Additionally, Mrs. Dimova is currently involved in the process of Family-system psychotherapy education, which is already implemented while she works with families. She is also in the process of obtaining postgraduate degree in Special education and rehabilitation master studies.
